Investigation Analysts handle sensitive and high-risk cases and must maintain the highest ethical standards. What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties): Leverage blockchain analytics and financial crime expertise to conduct in depth investigations and analysis in support of Coinbase’s BSA/AML program. Conduct reviews of higher risk cases referred by partner teams, which may involve high volume transaction activity, potential fraud or money laundering rings, terror financing or human trafficking concerns, politically exposed persons (PEPs), high-profile individuals, etc. Able to apply a variety of investigatory techniques to ambiguous complex fact patterns resulting in independent analysis to meet regulatory filing requirements. Detailed understanding of a broad range of financial product offerings across the financial services industry Evaluate AML and fraud-related alerting activity to determine whether such activity warrants a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) filing in accordance with FinCEN guidelines. Conduct Continuing Activity Reviews (CARs) of customer activity as needed. Initiate 314(b) requests, enhanced due diligence (EDD) requests, and sanctions advisory reviews to comply with the USA PATRIOT Act, regulatory requirements, and internal policies and procedures. Analyze KYC information and conduct open-source and due diligence research in support of investigations. Maintain detailed documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulations and internal policies and procedures. We are seeking a self-starting Experiential Marketing Manager II to own the full lifecycle of high-quality events from concept to completion. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to plan, organize and execute innovative experiences representing Coinbase. A successful candidate will build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and be able to lead and execute in a fast-paced environment. What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties): Project manage end-to-end event processes to deliver high quality events through the entire lifecycle of event planning, execution and post-event management including but not limited to: invitation creation, internal and external announcements, pre-event tasks such as audio visual technology requirements, on-site staffing and support, registration support and reporting, managing event supplies and shipping, premium research and ordering, and production of event materials Plan and execute event logistics and provide onsite quality event management including host and attendee management, budget management, contract negotiation, and adherence to internal guidelines Coordinate across internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding events on message Creating pre and post event briefs, including key metrics and results Develop and execute white glove differentiated client experiences for various audience segmentations Manage and track project budgets, including vendor approval, working with finance to process invoices and tracking expenses What we look for in you (ie. job requirements): 5+ years prior experience in event management related activities Creative ideation for client events and experiences Detail oriented and organized with a strength in project management Strong verbal and written communication skills Proactive, self-sufficient, resourceful and motivated Strong sense of time management, prioritization and ability to execute against deliverables Ability to multitask and be flexible in a high-energy, fast-paced environment Ability to think independently/problem solve Team player who consistently interacts with peers, partners, management, relationship managers and clients Be willing to tackle any task and exemplify a positive attitude and commitment to success Familiar with basic virtual events Ability to effectively communicate with all levels including senior management Nice to haves: You have crypto experience and a knowledge of the crypto market Proven quantitative track record of previous success such event metrics, attribution to revenue or lead generation Job #: P58709 Coinbase is committed to diversity in its workforce and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
