Lead Content Designer
We are currently seeking a talented and passionateLead Content Designer to join our team at Mythical Games and contribute to the success of our NFL-branded mobile game, NFL Rivals. This is an individual contributor role with significant opportunities to create impact from the ground level. Responsibilities: Focus primarily on content design and creation, with some involvement in systems design and balancing. Collaborate with a close-knit, cross-disciplinary team. Work closely with our Business Development team, with potential opportunities to present to the NFL Players Association. Engage in data entry and data manipulation tasks. Proactively improve processes and maintain high documentation standards. Required Skills and Experience: Strong understanding of American football and the NFL, with a willingness to continue learning in this area. Experience in live service and/or mobile gaming. Strong documentation skills. High proficiency in Excel, including work with queries and macros. Google Looker SQL Public speaking The expected base salary range for this role is based on the location where the employee’s work will be performed and is aligned to one of our three compensation pay range tiers. Base pay is just one part of Mythical’s total compensation package, which is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their efforts and contributions. This role is also eligible to participate in Mythical’s Corporate Bonus and Equity Plan. Pay Ranges by Tier: Tier 1: $127,000 - $175,000 Tier 2: $114,000 - $157,000 Tier 3: $102,000 - $140,000 Locations by Tier: Tier 1 Locations: San Francisco Bay Area - California Tier 2 Locations: Remainder of California (outside of the SF Bay Area), Washington state, Massachusetts state, New York state Tier 3 Locations: All other states outside of California, Washington, Massachusetts, and New York *The role is open to candidates in the following states on a remote basis: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Texas & Washington The base salary for each successful applicant will be dependent on a variety of factors, including work location, education, qualifications, competencies, relevant work experience, business needs, and market demands. Associate Graphic Designer
Mythical Games is at the forefront of integrating blockchain technology with gaming to create immersive digital experiences that captivate players worldwide. We're currently seeking a talented and passionate Live Operations Associate Graphic Designer to join our team and contribute to the success of our NFL-branded mobile game, NFL Rivals. In this fully remote position, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement dynamic art content that supports the live operations of a high-profile mobile game. Key Responsibilities: Create High-Quality 2D Assets: Design and develop polished, thematically consistent 2D assets for NFL Programs, including player cards, banners, icons, and other in-game graphics. Design Impressive Pack Art: Develop distinctive 2D textures for pack art that is easily recognizable by its theme/program and quickly communicates its value to players. Program Art: Develop UI headers, banners, etc. for NFL monthly programs. Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with the Art Director, product managers, designers, and fellow artists to generate top-tier assets that not only look great but also serve their intended purpose in the game. Maintain Artistic Consistency: Ensure all artwork aligns with the studio's and NFL's > Version Control Management: Organize and maintain assets in a version control system (e.g., Git), ensuring that the latest versions are always available and properly documented. Live Operations Support: Rapidly iterate on content based on player feedback and game performance data, making necessary adjustments to art assets to enhance player experience. Participate in Team Meetings: Engage in daily stand-ups and other team meetings, providing updates, feedback, and ensuring alignment across the team. Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any art-related issues that arise during the development and live operations phases. Qualifications: Strong Creative and Artistic Skills: Proven ability to create visually compelling and thematically appropriate 2D art for mobile games. Proficiency in Industry-Standard Tools: Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. UI/UX Design Experience: Solid understanding of user interface design principles and user experience optimization. Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to creatively solve problems, iterate quickly, and adapt to feedback. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with remote teams. Experience with Version Control: Previous experience with Git or other version control systems is advantageous. NFL Knowledge: A good understanding of NFL teams, players, and culture is beneficial and will help in creating thematically accurate assets. Experience with Unity Engine: Hands-on experience using Unity for mobile game development is a plus. Knowledge of 3D & VFX: Familiarity with 3D rendering and particle systems in Unity is a plus. Senior Producer
We are seeking highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Senior Producer. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong desire to work in the gaming industry. As a Senior Producer you will be responsible for planning, tracking, and reporting on the development progress of the feature development team working on a sports mobile game. This includes the identification and breakdown of work, ensuring work is estimated and scheduled within capacity, management of work allocation between team members based on skill set, monitoring delivery of features against milestones, and reporting on progress against feature and build targets. You will be working in a highly agile environment, so flexibility in approach is a must. Experience 5-10 years of experience in game development, project management, or a related field. Knowledge of game development methodologies, project management tools, and software development processes. CSM or PMP certification an advantage Attributes Passionate about gaming and the gaming industry Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A team player who is also able to work independently. A willingness to learn and develop new skills. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Work with the development team to ensure that games are delivered on time and to the required quality standards. Plan and schedule game development, taking into account budget constraints, resource availability, and technical requirements. Manage the jira project and all issue artifacts related to development. Assist in planning and execution of game testing and quality assurance efforts, including bug tracking and reporting. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and work with the Development Director to implement solutions to ensure project goals are met. Create project reports and other documentation, ensuring that they are clear and concise. Lead all agile processes and practices and implement changes agreed by the team for continuous improvement. Build and maintain relationships with external development partners, vendors, and contractors. Assist in the development of game design documents, ensuring that they are accurate and up-to-date.
